◆When did you start drawing?
Can't remember. But I really got into drawing in Primary school, though it was really really atrocious.

◆Which hand do you use for drawing?
Left-handed for penmanship stuff but right-handed for everything else!


◆Which is easier to draw - male or female?
Male! Female eyes and anatomy just kills me. If not I would probably have a couple of female OCs now.


◆Which is easier to draw - long hair or short hair?
Short. Too long and I have to sort of manage my flowiness into the art.


◆Is it easier to draw the head facing towards the right or the left?
Both are hard. A 3/4 view is better.


◆Is it easier to draw the side view of the face or the front view?
Front view is easier. 3/4 is better. >:E


◆What problems do you have in drawing?
Backgrounds, human anatomy, animals, anthros


◆What do you like to draw?
Create new OCs. I'm mostly a conceptual artist.


◆Are you a traditional artist or a digital artist?
Both. But I prefer drawing traditionally. I never upload any traditional drawings because my scanner is in the living room and I don't like to show my work to others (my brother and mother always hang out there).


◆Where do you start drawing from?
First I draw a basic frame, then I buff up the frame, and then I start adding sketchy details, then I finalize the details, add base colours, shade, add highlights, do touch-ups.


◆What is your drawing habit that you are aware of?
Whenever I'm unhappy with my art, I sort of hit the pencil/stylus against my chin with a rather odd expression while trying to think up of something to improve the art.


◆Any tips for coloring/shading?
Blend the colours together!


◆How long does it take to finish a piece of art?
Basic frame: 1 - 5 minutes
Sketchy Details: 5 - 15 minutes
Finalize Details: 15 - 60 minutes
Base Colour: 10 - 20 minutes
Shading: 30 - 120 minutes
Highlights: 5 - 20 minutes
Touch-ups: 1 - 30 minutes


◆What music do you listen to while you draw?
Whatever is going on in the background. Usually cars passing by or noisy kids in the swimming pool.


◆How long does it take you to come up with an idea?
It varies.


◆Your favorite drawing utensils?
Mechanical pencil (0.5), wooden pencils (HB, 2B)


◆Your favorite color/the color that you use a lot?
Black, white

◆Your favorite style(s)?
Shounen, seinen


◆What kind of artist are you aiming for?
I've entertained the thoughts of being a comic artist, but it seems like a really tedious job from what I read in Bakuman. And I'm more of a conceptual artist than anything...
